Inside battery box

for a quick idea of what it looks like, you can see the bolts holding it to the floor (big panel washers used under car to spread load), the thread through plastic holder over battery also goes through the floor with a nut on either side |

 Re: Inside battery box oh cool. so are the ends of the rods on the clamp threaded instead of being bent at an angle to fit into a bracket? I didnt think of doing this , but I guess I will to get it cleared at the pits.
btw why is the box warped? did you have an overheat or something?

 Re: Inside battery box yeah i bought pieces of threaded rod then put a nut on the bottom so it slightly overhung the end of the thread and filled the end of the nut with solder so tha it wouldnt come off, then pushed it through the floor, tightened a nut down on the inside of the box and then use that as the post
dont know why its warped, i thought it was just the way it was mounted and how hard i do up the strap on the lid, i hope its not overheating i never really cheched that
