the supercharger is mounted in the bottom right corner just behind the air cleaner.

the reason for this pic is to show the front view of wally's engine bay, which features a supercharged a14

Luv seen the pics but why doesnt he post the specs to make it easier to do the setup for ourselves???
Especially seeming it has a carb.
What I always find sad is that all the v8 brigade can look up a book and do anything cause its been done before and theres info on it. With dats we have to ask every question about a succesful setup and burn the ears off the owner and feel guilty and frustrated for wanting to perform the setup.
Wally tell us what you get out of it and how you did it. This way our love "Dattos" can have a following by youngsters or newcomers by looking to use grans or mums old taxi or save one from the tip.
It will also help us oldies save money and valuable escaping time and nagging other halves.

d we might not have books but we have something better, its called www.datsun1200.com and on the website is a search button and you simply have to type up what you want and then press search and it will show you all of the information that wally was kind enough to share with us when he posted the pics.
This also helps prevent repeats from clogging up the website.

 Re: Wally Wagon
D brings up a good point ... it would be nice to have more of the buildups documented in a central place.

That place is called the Tech Section "Featured Cars".

Anyone who wishes can create a Tech Section article, comprehensively list all the info about your modification and post it to the Tech Section. You can even add or change it later. Ask in the Content forum if you are interested.

 Re: Wally Wagon
flyby if you have seen this wagon in person like i have today you would understand exactley why theres so much money and yes more importantly time put into that bay. wally restored the wagon to as close as original as possible but with a kick arse A series. you cant compare it to a SR or CA project nor can you compare them to the A14 supercharge - completely different objctives. the wagons in mint as close to original condition and goes really hard for a 1.4 engine!!! Good work wally

A lot of people had trouble logging in and un-installing something called "NORTON" cleared up the problem.
