Working on a way to get the valves opeing using a 73/76mm bore.
The idea is to machine the top of the bores at a 5 degree angle startin from 2mm down to 3. eg..top of bore will look like a funnel.
wat do u guys think??

Re: TC Aseries You wont be able to enlarge your bore anywhere below where the top ring stops at tdc. Are the valves too large for the bore? You may be able to machine ressess in the side of the bore wall to clear the valves.

Re: TC Aseries I don't know how much room you need but you could go 79mm pistons, or 80mm depending on the block.
Edit: I see that's an A12 block now, the above would only be for A14 or A15 blocks.

 Re: TC Aseries thanks guys.
I was planning on using a 14/15 block n bore it to 79mm,to keep it under 1400cc i was going to use the 1200 crank(1372cc), but i would need to find some really long rods to fit.........Does anyone know of any rods long enough, the pistons have a compression height of 27mm
Or just bite the bullett n go into a higer class(super 1600)
