You can't really tell but he orange peel is even worse on the engine bay than the test hood I did.  Must be a problem with the surface prep or something.  But anyway I don't have any choice but to live with it.   Don't have time to resand and respray or to figure out what the problem is.  At least the orange peel is uniform so it looks halfway intentional :)

If anyone asks, it is not orange peel but one of those "Mild Hammertone" paint jobs.

You aren't putting enamel over acrylic are you?

edit: Doh! was confusing you with someone else who had a paint problem.

Had a look through your gallery, looks good to me!
