Re: Bright Green Race Coupe Motor
Thanks for the Comments on the 4agzte ,, Twincharger ,,, The 4agze runs the larger toyota sc14 supercharger ,,which makes 13 psi with the std pulley ratio ,,the turbo blows 10 psi into the Supercharger ,,,which gives a total of 23psi ,, this makes 250 rwHp at 7000 rpm ,, You can make More HP at lower boost with just a turbo ,,due the Hp drag from the supercharger and they are not that efficient as well as a turbo ,,,, SO why do i like the Twin charge system so much .. its the BIG Broard Flat Torque curve ,,the Max torque is from 3200 rpm to 6800rpm its dead flat .so its nice and easy to drive when its like that less gear changes ect ,,more corner control with the gas pedal ,, A turbo engine is hard to get that control because they spike more when the power comes on which is what you dont want mid corner ,, I can make 20 psi by free reving the motor so thats a good sign that there is no lag ,, you need less that 2000rpm to make a good start(or you smoke the tyres in 1st and 2nd ) as its got so much botton end torque .. the guy who did my dyno work couldnt believe a 1600 cc could make so much torque at so low revs ( 1600rpm ) its like electric motor in a slot car ,and your hand trigger, is your acellerator pedal .. it pulls all the way from idle to 7000rpm .. People do stand there for awhile looking at the engine bay to work out all the pipes .. Btw i have changed some of the piping to the pic ,, Iam happy with the power and have no plans to get more power till i get a better chassis set up and more tyre grip .. i will go faster in my times if do this ,, rather than trying to make more HP,, Well may be a bit more power , alot of people have tired this set up and it hasn`t worked that well ,, But i have found a few things it make it work to my liking ,,

That's rediculously cool... 1200RC should get some ideas for his next A series lol.

Christ almighty, I was wondering why I couldn't work out all the piping. That's more work than I've seen done to a 4AGZE in a very long time. Aussie Toyota enthusiasts usually are satisfied with replacing the SC12 supercharger with a turbo of their choice.

Got a dyno graph of this thing?
