I just spoke to the guy who built my kb10... a very useful conversation. He is going to try and chase up the cams log book for me. There was a heap of suspension mods that I didnt know about, which should be useful.

He reckoned that he thought about putting a ca16 in and that it was quite possible... in fact it almost bolts onto the datto 4spd. What do you all think?

 Cheers- Ian

Not much less power but lighter therefore not wrecking the handling. Eveyone seems to totally dismiss A-series these days. Keep it cheap, keep it simple and have fun. If you really wanted to do a cheap conversion go an l-series. Even then remember the handling. |

Unless you fit a ca18de or det head. Its not just the cost of the engine. Theres heap of other costs to consider when doing conversions. |
