What spring spec's will be good for the B140 Ute with a A15 motor in.
Use of the vehicle will be for Gymkhana in SA.

Can someone shed some light, I see some adjustable camber plates come with a bearing at the top and others not, is this necessary or a nice to have.

Thanks alot for the help.

On a different note, I see a lot of suggestions about fitting B210 suspension parts on the ute, does anyone know what it was known in South Africa?

levey that looks very nice and clean.

Is it bought of the shelf or made, if possible do you have some autocad drawings.
Will save me a crap load of time.

I met sparkyza1 this weekend, we had a lot of chats about the front suspensions, and we both are in need of this camber plates.

Especially the ute, it lacks in the front suspension side.

Thanks for the heads up. Was thinking of getting a set of threaded tubes from http://theovalracingshop.co.za/ @ R800 about.

Anywhere on the forum I can go and have a look at the specs of your A15 motor?

I'm new here, thx for the super site.

Please do not kill me, maybe this was covered previously.
I'm from South Africa, your series numbers are causing my brain to freeze.

I own a 1982 Datsun Deluxe 1400 LDV bakkie (as known in RSA).
This vehicle is fitted with the A14 Datsun Motor and this is where it gets interested.
From what I could figure out between this site and wikipedia, is that I have something in the lines of a Datsun B121 or a cross breed between that and a B140 series Bakkie.
It can't be a B140 as that is a Nissan. From what my father told me is that this bakkie was produced in the phase were Datsun became Nissan, hence the Datsun bakkie with Nissan keys.

Have a look at the attached picture or for more info if visit my website @ www.race-tech.co.za

I would like this info as it will help me better understand what series parts will fit this vehicle.

Any help will be appreciated?

sparkyza1 the questions you have asked here will help me a lot.
I started competing in the WBMK Gymkhanas this year down in Cape Town with a Datsun 1400 LDV, will figure out what they call them on these forums.

I'm suffering from the same issues than you currently. Suspension is way to soft.
I'm busy with some experiments on the back suspension, will test it out this weekend at Mykonos. There will be a lot of flame throwing g to my side about the mods, but somewhere I need to start if the budget is limited.

Have a look at www.race-tech.co.za for more detail.

Hope to meet you sometime.

Thanks for the great website guys, finding it very useful.
