My a15 was dynoed at 112 at the wheels with the 38mm mikunis bike carbs tuned length 4 into 1 ext. self ported head (my first one! from following a ford cleveland guide) and unknown cam and block from speedway car. I glazed the bores and warped the head with a leaking heater hose on a 40 degree day. I then put an a12 with another match ported head to the miks and sold it a guy from sydney. it was my first 1000 coupe on a small budget and after missing it I got hooked again on the small buggers as I couldnt find someone who could build reliable rotaries as they usually like volksies re use internals which last not far beyond the warranty period but give them the unfairly tags them as unreliable. The r100 bug was squashed by the rarely stolen or hard to find parts datsun brand.
Still miss the power but not the cops, muffler joint and arrsewipe maztech.

If those holden wankerrs can do a one off prototype big block then Nissan should do a vq45 engined 350z ----> 450z.

Im thinking bout using the craig davies water pump and undecided brand electric fuel pump to get a little more from the A14. Anyone know of problems associated with these? Ive had probs witht the electric fuel pump and had to revert back to mechanical for previous rides as they heated up in summertime and stopped. However I hear good things bout the CD water pump.
suggestions please
Of course Ill be running thermo fans and thinking of a block off plate instead of the old water pump. anyone done it??

Pity cause Mazda would be interested in something better than its restricted mufflers for their otherwise noisy hi po rotaries.
I had 5 mufflers on my pp r100.

Im otherwise going to motorbike shocks since they are stronger than 1000 to stabilize a single rear wheel on a bike. I say stronger as in tension and you can get coil overs for very cheap if you can make them fit.
