mate, doesnt matter they'll make up new rules (probably already have em) as to why a real car cant join the series and make a mockery of holden and ford

They have. The new Nissan GTR will be released in Oz and the US with a V8, but they have outlawed AWD, so it wont be eligable...boo We need real cars in that stupid "race"

Forget about the pushrod V8 Supercars ( I have always struggled with that name?) and push for a factory Nissan entry in the Nations Cup against the 427 Monaros, Lambos , Ferraris and Porsches, you know the REAL supercars, mate.!!! A works GTR LM in that company would be awesome..

If those holden wankerrs can do a one off prototype big block then Nissan should do a vq45 engined 350z ----> 450z.

I think Nissan could probably find a way into the V8 supercars, but why would they bother.
"ooooo...we can beat commodores and falcons....woopity-do" would be heard in the nissan pits on race day!

Hey bob, generally I agree with you on Holden motors.
But I was once given a very good run by a 202 motor, with a TO4 and nitrous. Mind you the thing was a tubbed drag car with no hope of being street registered. It nearly became the only car to ever beat me.

I think brand choice is a personal thing, I like Datsuns and Nissans but there were some pretty nasty and ugly cars that came from them too. I know where your coming from with the sheep like following that the Holdens and Fords seem to have but..I don't think they're dicks or whatever for thinking it. I drove a BA Falcon XR6 turbo in the weekend and was very impressed, it wasted the BA XR8 we had with us. The Monaro GTO that we've just rebuilt is a weapon but I did'nt enjoy driving it as much as the XR turbo. The shove in the back on boost was fantastic and reminded me of my old turbo Skyline which was a rocket ship but it handled like a gorilla on roller skates. We are attracted to different cars for different reasons and you have to respect that . I personally can't stand 120Ys but I don't knock people for enjoying them. And many a 120Y has died to keep my 1200s going...
