Tom,
I still have the GX head I mentioned 4-1/2 years ago. I'm in San Diego. It's clean. Let me know what you want to spend.

It was on fleabay back in late December. I was out of the country or would likely have bid on it.

Or go to a #102 Main jet from the stock #97 which is what I did to cure the flat spot when cruising at 65 mph or so in my 1972 coupe.

If you're running full slicks on this then you probably need the Panhard rod.

Tom, do you still have the GX valve springs? Do you also have keepers and retainers for them? I've got a GX head with valves but no springs. Actually I have the carbs/intake/exhaust as well but having the springs would help me to sell the whole package.

OT where did you get the 1200 you have now. I wrenched on one in the late 80's/early 90's here in San Diego.

Sounds like a GX motor. Did it come with the cast iron exhaust manifold? If true, you got a deal.

Tom, This was in the San Diego Region back in the late 80's-early 90's. The car was number 56/red. The owner and engine builder was Jack Tietjen who was the head of Tech for SD for a number of years. Our best year was 11 class wins in 12 races in the SD winter series.
