I say gold center as well; I had a pair of Enki's that looked like that but as 2 of them had been damaged and then welded back up they went of to a local street 1200......those wheels looked great.

Gold centre, Definitely! I would go white flares though, only because my flares are going to be black.

Picked up a few more parts to start putting on my 1200...

Where did you get the flares? Looks like you are creating a great looking car.

there is a company in NZ making the original flares for the coupes. i have a set on my beast. my avatar shows them bolted on, but i cut them down and glassed them to the body to make them look more factory.
oh and i just saw some on ebay for sale..$200 i think was the buy price

personally i reckon that you should leave the wheels as they are, i really like the polished look.

hmmm, you lot are giving me ideas... I think I have some dark metallic grey under the house - might look alright on my flares...

Got some work done this weekend...

MadDat crossmember showed up Saturday, so the engine may go in sooner than expected...





Got the RHD pedal box installed in the car and working. Column goes in next weekend...





Since the RHD pedal box I have is set up for a cable clutch (not hydraulic), and clearance is tight around the intake manifold, I decided to peruse other options. I found that if I welded up the cable hook on the end of the clutch pedal and re-drilled it, I can hook up the pushrod for the clutch master cylinder and mount it backwards inside the dash.




Then I will run a new clutch hardline from there to down beside the trans where it needs to be. I may end up making a remote reservoir to make it easier to fill and keep an eye on, but I might just keep it there so it's invisible once the car is finished. I know it's a bit crazy, but it WILL work. Now I just need to build a VERY beefy mount for the master so there's no flex.
