hey everyone im starting a convertion on my 1200 ute. i need to get as much info as possible on were and how to get stuff done in perth, its been a while but i can now start the build as i now have a CA18DET motor and box, 200b struts and a R31 skyline diff

things i need to find out

where can i get the diff shortened and how much(including axel resplining)
a good place to get bearings pistons and gaskets for a CA18DDET
and were or how to shorten 200b struts

any help would be great

final drive are the place to go for the diff

might be cheaper to get a ca18det that doesnt need rebuilding ( just a thought )

i got the motor and box with a new turbo for $1000 and all the stuff to get it runnig but the camera is down at the moment so ill try to get some pics asap

Got 2 Axles re-splined for $150.00 at veem, when had tailshaft done. I had allready cut them to length (Dont cut with abrasive disc as it heats the metal, I cut them on the lathe) Gave them the old spline as a sample. I cut and welded the diff tubes and modifed mounts.

$1000 aint bad for a DET.
