ill take some pics tomorrow
it was in an off road buggy with rear facing engine ,so im not sure about mid mounting it
an alfa romeo transaxle would be a better mid drive setup i reckon?

Formula V racers simply turned the whole engine trans around for a mid motor type instalation, then simply assembled the crownwheel on the other side of the pinion to avoid having four reverse gears. No reason why something like this couldn't be done with a Datsun engine conversion in a racer.

don't know what class you'd be able to run. Even Sport Sedans require the rearmost part of the engine to be forward of the wheelbase centreline, unless it was originally a mid or rear engined car.

rules suck
