Just made this adapter manifold for twin bike carburetors onto 1200, bolt onto standard manifolds. You can actually use the plastic adapter but if i get some good interest for them i will have them cast in aluminium. Linkages will also be available soon

Also have adapter, twin bike carb to amr500 supercharger

Many more projects still to come, and will also custom make one-off parts

this kit is just over 3k aud in japan yahoo auctions
which is a rip off as carbs are a 3rd of that
you could make the same manifold but to suit
R1 or R6 carbs or similar CVs

There are heaps of kits that use the amr500 in japan for
modern popular cars as well with a few using custom made
manifolds but ecu controller would be the challenge.

What kind of plastic is the adaptor? Fuel resistant?

Why would an ECU be a challenge? Bike carburetors don't use an ECU.

As far as I know there are no Japanese kits for amr500's, the ones you mention are not for amr's

I like designing with parts that are readily/cheaply available. The bike carbs im using are 34mm, so they are ideal for twin/triple or quad setups.

Adapters allow for cheap setups as you retain your standard factory parts, manifolds...etc

Any setups are a possibility....adapters/manifolds...etc using whatever parts are available.

You want it, there's a good chance I will consider producing it

DD,
ECU is just in case he uses kits for later cars as there are now plenty of metro kids with little fwd rides that want a simple kit for boost. I Agree keep it simple, keep if for us and keep them carby.

Sounds like a plan, the mini manis would be small and easy to sell in japan for cheaper than those rip off versions. Yeah sorry those chargers are ogura tx.

How well does the plastic hold up to fuels?

Love the idea of printing intakes that would otherwise take some expensive machine work to accomplish.

Depends on the plastic, ABS is not so great with petrol (paraffin solvents), PLA is not so good with ethanol (alcohols). You could paint it with an appropriate epoxy. PLA softens at 60-70°C so not really suited to that type of job. Which is why I'd say supercharger said he'd get them cast.

Drawings done for simple quad bike carb setup, will print soon and design the linkages once the carbs are sitting in the engine bay
