If you go to www.ewacars.com they have a few Datsun model cars I haven't seen before. They are all from Ebbro, the 1200 Coupe sells for $24.50 USD, the Ute for $28.00 USD, and the SSS 510 for $35.00 USD.

dude they are exact scale replicas, everything is the right size and they look just like a 1200 ute not a 180b, its just the angle

rotary's have better power to weight and some motors are designed with torque down low (street cars) and others to rev hard (like rally cars and other race cars), a purpose built race car will drive crap on the road and a road car crap on the track, most rotars are built like race motors hence need for high revs

in that case, theyve done excactly the same with all models its just that if you look at a stock 1200 in real life its pretty plain and boring looking where as a 1200 coupe will always have that sex appeal, and some might say the 1600 does too

Rotary engines don't need to rev to make power -- you don't know what you're talking about. The early rotaries had a relatively flat torque.

Racing A12s need to rev, so do racing rotaries. So what of it?

Anyways...

Does anyone know of any places in Australia that have these models for sale? I really want to get one for a friend for his birthday/christmas but have worked out it will be at least AU$115 to buy it and get it over here!

Alternately, maybe we could do some sort of group buy!?

Any other suggestions? Because this would be the perfect present!
