Hey all i just installed my thermatic fan on my 1200 ute on the standard radiator. im not here to sk questions but to tell yo guys they are awesome...i took of the fan of the water pump and its soooo much quieter in the cabain and there is definatly a power in crease inm running the thermatic anybody else used a thermatic fan in had the same luck? Thanks-

yes you'll feel a little bit more power and it'll stay cooler on hot days.

I think it's an electric fan not the one on the end of the water pump. It's one of those things to upgrade first when tuning one of theses little engines.

Thermatic fans bolt to either the front of the radiator and push air through or to the rear and pull air through. Because they are electric, instead of mechanical (your current fan runs directly off the crankshaft) you will see a small power increase. But the main benefit is that because you set them up with the controller (a small box with a copper wire running into the radiator top hose to measure the radiator coolant temperature) you decide when they come on and go off so the car warms up and cools down more efficiently.
Do a Google images search and you will see what they look like. Most modern cars run them if you have access to one.
