Hi. My name is Chris. I've just joined your club. I think it's great. I own a '70 datsun 1000 coupe. The engine and gearbox are a12 from a '72 1200 coupe. I'll post some pics of it tomorrow. c ya Chris

Wow, you lucky dude...I'd love a 1000 coupe but they were never sold here. I have a 1000 wagon with an A12 in it at the moment. Where are you...Oz? Eddie

I live in victoria Australia. They didn't make to many 1000 coupes, somthing like 17,000 world wide. Most of them went to africa (I think, have to check), some to the USA as Datsun Sunny's and some to Australia. My dad restored it about 14 years ago. They had to drag it out of the shed were he bought it from, basicly if it turned it was frozen, But it turned out pretty good in the end. I posted some pics under members cars. c.ya Chris
