I'm happily running 550cc injectors.

Apparently good for up to 260kW with a Rising Rate FPR.

I've heard that microtech is not so good with 'much larger' injectors causing a rough idle. But 550cc is the general rule for a fast street car with a CA18det or SR20det.

I may be upgrading to 660cc once I get everything sorted. But seriously...think about it.

550cc/min x 4 = 2 Litres of petrol / minute @ 100% duty cycle on the injectors @ std EFI fuel pressure. Your full 1200 fuel tank would last 15 minutes if you were continually maxing out 550cc injectors.

There you go..my rant. When was the last time you used a tank of fuel in 15 minutes?

just imagin if you had a 20B rotary with 3 x 1000cc primarys and 3 x 1500cc secondary injectors!

and people think a standard commodore is bad on fuel....

but yes, anywhere from above 400cc to 600cc is streetable

I have a set of 440's out of a GTR sitting on the workbench for the next round of mods. Apparently they are good for a bit over 200rwkw which is plenty for me.

I have 700cc Sard injectors in my ca18. If buying new injectors its always best to go a bit larger than you actually require. So at full power they are only running at around the 70% duty.Your 550's should be good for around the 230-250rwkw with a good fuel setup and rising rate regulator. Heaps for any street Ca18
Cheers Andrew
