I got a message from a conscientious 1200.com member that my car is on ebay!

It's not quite as serious as that but somebody is using a picture of my car to sell theirs!

Is this person a member here?? I don't remember posting the picture anywhere!

Don't know if there are member here...but at least he made this disclaimer.

Ebay can be dodgey.
I found a bloke in adelaide selling my old coupe, i was the 3rd owner, i bought it from a old grandmas daughter.

When i saw the ad on ebay for my old car it said one previous owner. I sent the seller a message asking how he came across the car and weather he was the 2nd owner etc.
He wrote back he had the car in storage for 10 years after his grandfather handed it down, it had never had a smash and was in mint condition.

I ran it up an embankment bending the radius rod mount, then on a cruise my mate rear ended it and we pulled it out with a chain, a tree and some acceleration.

I reported him to ebay.

the seller has good feedback and admits in the item description 2nd pic isn't his car

shops and websites use unauthorized pics of other people's cars all the time, and no one gets bent out of shape about that

why do people get so bent when someone uses a pic of their car? I can understand "selling" a car that isn't theirs.
