hi how are you?
would you happen to have some pics of these carbies, so I can see what they look like?
where they new or second hand when you bought them?
What would be the lowest price for them. and what size motor did they come off. some pics would be great as I am after a set of 40mm side draught weber's for my datto.

thanks for the pm, but I would really love to see them first before I commit to any deal.
My plans for them would be to put them on a worked A15 motor which I have plans for sometime in the future.
Is $450.00 the lowest amount that you would take for them??? Have the jets been altered????
and how long did you say youv'e had them for??
but I still need some pics of them.
Thanks for the reply though.

450 is about it. Webers dont come with jets from the factory, you buy them separately to suit the application. As i told you they have been set up 4 a 2 litre. Looks like youll have to go without, i haven't got the ability to put up pics at the moment. sorry. If you want you can buy them brand new- they cost 500 plus each for a bare carb, then you have to buy jets to suit, not sure of the price 4 jets. Hope this helps, not sure who sells them in tassie.

I think rocket industries or some one like that sells them. If you really want to know i can find out who it is exactly and probably get a phone number. A friend of mine deals with rocket and a few other performance joints. You can buy almost any part you want, if yo know what you want, and you have the cash. I dont think weber has a web site, pretty sure its not owned by weber as such. I think it was bought out by a larger performance retailer, who now sells webers as part of its range. So there you go, you learn something new every day, even if you know everthing

Just got off the phone. The distributor 4 Redline performance parts should be able to help you out. As previously mentioned, $500 plus then you have to buy emulsion tubes and jets to suit you application. (as long as you know which ones you need). So you are looking at around $600-$700 EACH!! Plus shipping. Get on to redline, Im sure they will sort you out, no worries.
