looks nice. anyone know how people change the tailgate hinges internally? like what mechanism and how hard is it? ive talked to afew panel beaters and none of them wanna touch it.

cut down HQ-WB mechanism I think. I've also seen it done with bits of rope back to the cab...


edit: wetdriftdude got in before me... Also the rear seat mechanism in a 120Y wagon/pvan looked like it would work, basically anything that can be turned to make pins go from the sides of the tailgate into the back of the ute

just a lever on the inside of the tailgate that when you turn it can push or pull two rods connected to it which come out holes drilled in the sides of the tailgate that go in holes in the body near the ones in the tailgate
