im after a suplementary bonnet to paint in black, i dont want to paint this one.

i have one lsd in my shed, i just want to install to now" how it is".

i have one nice a12gx with twin su ready to install in the 120y. it was a rally cross engine , 100hp

i have the entire kit, gx engine+ dogleg 5 speed and lsd.

When they help you rare spares have repo 120y ones for like 200 bucks. Should alreadly be black ready for a coat of black

tom, did you get a early or late L16? You need the early model one (dato 1600) i think if your using the 180b crossmember, that has the pickup at the rear of the motor.

this was my 120Y project. sold it before I finished it. rescued from a wrecker, fitted with 180B x-member, locked sedan BW diff, modified rear springs, stripped to bare shell and painted inside and out.

the 120Y is a good thing - better than the 1200 IMO. easy L series swap, wider track, massive wheel arches particularly under the rear of the coupes, much stronger shell and floorpan with heaps of pressed ribbing would make it much more rigid than a 1200, and they're reinforced in all the places the 1200 shells crack - strut towers, coupe C pillar.

I wouldn't mind another 120Y coupe. or a 2dr sedan would be pretty cool too.
