It was a question.

The 1971-1973 A12 (the only kind ever sold in the US) have the dizzy up front, and the old-style engine mounts. The A13, A14, A15 and A121 have the dizzy toward the back, and the new-style engine mounts.

Now your engine is stamped A12, but has the A13-style dizzy location. The A14 block is taller, but the A13 is the same height as A12.

So the question is did Nissan build A12s after 1973? And with the newer block?

& the answer is (open envelope,look excited,read prepared adlib) YES.all australian b210's (120y's),b310's(sunnys,210's),b120's (utes),& c20 vans used this style block with an 1171 cc capacity.it's probably the same the rest of the world.i think american pollution laws might have had something to do with the larger capacities your cars got.

Would it be possible to get a late model Nissan Micra, fit the 1.8 litre motor from a Tiida & then turbocharged it? Your answer must include parts numbers for the conversion. You have 12 months. Commence.

has anyone bored thier A12 by themselves? cause i wont to get more power out of my A12 but dont wanna spend to much! how hard is it to change heads over? (A15, A14?)
