Hey all im looking into getting some aluminium crank pullys made up for a series motors...The pullys will be a single v belt drive the same as a standard one. they will be hard annodised wich means they will not have a seal grove run into them as standard ones do. I am useing mine for my fuel injection set up so i can run sequential injector timing and ignition timing. please PM me if your interested the more people i can get the cheaper they will be for all of us. aprox 10people $150. more ppl the cheaper so yeh thanks all hear from you soon.

Yeh well i hope i can get them cheap enough. for me the real advantage will be for fuel injection as i canot put the hall efect sensor magnets into a steel pully. they are HEAPS lighter and will take the motor less energy to turn so i guess it could create extra hp...every bit counts.

hmmm something with triggers for injection is interesting, what does it need to know which cylinder it's at for coil packs and injection?

I thought you sold your fuel injection manifold?

Is this for a custom setup?

i'd be interested in a pulley
specially if you could make it a little bigger to slow the alternator down .... and a matching water pump pulley for those running thermo fans would awesome as well

Have you got a design in mind for the pulley ?
most aftermarket light weight pulleys use a Underdrive ratio for the Crank Pulley , also If i was making a crank pulley . i would make it in 2 piece , So that the seal / Keyway Flange is made in metal , and the Crank pulley is alloy and bolts to the metal key way flange , Like a water pump Pulley to the water pump flange .
, Any way thats my 2 Cents worth

YOU MAKE IT SMALLER TO SLOW THE WATER AND ALTERNATOR DOWN (THAT IS CALLED UNDERDRIVING)
