I just thought I'd stop in and report that I have not fallen off the face of the planet. I lost this site in my "favorite places" thingy and being the Luddite I am, didn't bother to go looking for it again. Then I forgot about y'all, sorry. Anyhoo, I thought I'd drop in with a report. My Lotus Seven clone with an A-15 has been on the road for over a year now and is an absolute blast. The Chickenhawk is still down with no engine but I plan to install a VG-30 and five-speed transaxle from a Maxima in the back soon. Yes, a mid-engine V6 1200. We'll see if I don't get distracted again. Currently I'm in the process of putting a turbo A-12 in the 1200 I bought for $5 a few years back. I hope to have that running in the next month. After that I'm moving on to a Chevy 350 V8 in a 610. That should be fun. When that is done I'll do the mid-engine V6 mentioned above. If nothing comes along to divert me, another VG-30 and five-speed out of a 300ZX will go in a 1982 210 four-door I'm sitting on. Well, I think that just about gets y'all up to speed with what's going on at Dimlight Racing. I'll be more regular in here now that I've found the site again!

With that many projects on the go, you could be forgiven for not logging on for a while, welcome back.

Sounds like a bunch of fun. You would probably like my buddy's 710 w/ the Ford 302 in it. One of his next projects will be a 1600 Roadster with a Small Block Ford.

cheers

Welcome back! I was beginning to doubt that you really had a remote-release Datsun 1200 trunk lid...

I do have pix of my Datsuns here. That website it really old so some of the pictures are out of date. I'll see if my Spiderman (my webmaster, get it?) is willing to do a little updating for me.
