Yep, thats right, the plastic thing on the bottom of the gear shifter was worn away, I will replace it rite away. It is the same thing for FWD cars too, I guess.

Good to know the FWD can share the same problem - you can also make those bushes out of brass if you have a lathe...

I will post a pic of my car as soon as my camera is back on track (it's broken=/)

From LF10-3- and on? Dang! My chassisnr is LF10-015126! That means I still have the weak box? =/

>_<

In other words - there is no point in utilizing the weaker box together with an A14 engine..?

Eh.. Maybe I'll just overhaul the entire 1.2 ltr A12 ;)

Maybe I should keep it in 100% original state? Like I do with my 76' Corolla KE30 ^^

Today was a great day! I finally saw the copies of my new ignition keys arrive in my mailbox!

I brought approx. 10 litres of gasoline, four new spark plugs and a can of start-gas-spray down to my little yellow friend and jump start cable connected it to my other car, a workhorse Nissan Sunny N13.

While my brother sprayed startspray into the air intake, I turned the key..

Regardless of standing inoperable for three years, the little fellow started after three attempts - and in -23 freezing Celsius degrees!

Thats what I call reliability ;)

But.. is there any grease joint chambers behind the front wheels (maybe they are called niples? ;p)? And as for the steering box - should the oil there be changed? And what about the gearbox oil - no need for changing?

Just wonderin' :)

I've heard that the grille of this car is very hard to find..? Take a look at the grille for yourself and see a piece broken off at the right side.. Seeing as this grille is absolutely in one whole piece, I guess I need a brand new grille..?

sincerely, Lars
