I like the colour, but seeing it in the strong light of the setting [or rising] sun isn't the best way to get a good idea of the colour.

It's probably better seen in diffused light, like under the shade of a tree, or on a day that isn't too bright but, ... is this a thread on colour choice, or, like the heading says, on CAR CHOICE?

If it is car choice, then I prefer my Datsuns.

I looked at this for mine but custom made my own 3 layer pearl orange. It will cost you as it has special effect pearls and will need a light grey ground coat all over before the orange and pearl as it does not cover well over patches of primer

Orange is one of the 70's factory colors Datsun used. the 1200/B110,180B/610, 120Y/B210,"Z" ,510s/1600 , 620/1600, etc.
Looks good and appropiate. About the hue....make sure it is the hue you intent.

I like it! I always wanted to have a factory orange 1200, but in the end always go with the "sleeper" color (white).
