Ahh the beloved 'K'.....

Can you believe my Grandfather had a silver one in pristine condition.
Used to change the oil every 5000 K's.
Washed & polished it every Saturday.

And...... He traded it for a Bluebird

understood. these are just not respected datsun models in oz. only a handful of guys even bother to fix them up. most guys on this forum see them and think "wow, i'd like the struts from that car."

Funny ddgonzal. Just so happans, one of my mates has one of these with that fake wood steering wheel and stone bone original and l've had two of them in my time with some rust in them.

I thought you'd like the Marlin comment since it is obscure vintage iron. I once almost got kicked off this forum for sarcasm. I try to resist.

Anyways back to serious comment: wow! a Skyline. The fastback comment was perhaps unconciously spurred by jealousy for sporty cars. Unfortunately my destiny is to drive humble sedans. Mat that Skyline puts you in the elite few among 300 million americans.
