This 120y tach went for over $100 US on ebay! Astounding since you could probably find a whole car with a tach for close to that.

ebay is an amazing animal.

Tach's were pretty rare even in those days when the cars were abundant. Since the B210 are scarce now its even more difficult to find.

You could get a fairly good one here with shift light for about $150 AU new.

they may be hard to find, but i wouldn't call them rare if you know where to look

Tachometers on 120Ys in the US are a rare occurence. The Tachs did not come unless requested as accesory. Since it was an entry level econo car, most people did not show interest in a tachometer.
I have never seen a B210 with a tach....factory one. I have seen it in the internet ( the tach ) and that is how I know what it looks like.

One hundred dollars does not seem a lot to me for a gauge that will add to the look of your car and a gauge that is a rarity in this country. One hundred dollars provided the Tachometer is in working condition and in good shape.Perhaps in Australia most 120ys came into the market with a tach...in that case every junk yard would have them available , price becoming commensurate to its availability.
