Interesting perspectives here. I think I'm hooked on this 32 GTS-T I've been looking at, I reakon she's a nice. Slightly dulled paint, couple of nicks, mostly stock. The only thing done to the motor after the most recent rebuild were the exhaust, chipped computer, surge tank and external bosch fuel pump.

I reakon I could see myself in this thing as an occasional weekend car and once in a while do stuff car, surely that limited use shouldn't bring up reliability issues?

It's the race track work that really broke mine I think. You forget how old these cars are when you drive them as they feel so modern.

A stock GTSt just can't handle race track punishment and still operate as a daily driver. A GTR might be built a litte tougher I guess.

It's probably the same with any car - unless built for the track they can't handle it stock.

you'd have to compare the two back to back. i've only recently driven the gt-r and the s13 sr20det, and there is a HUGE gulf between 'em

i just watched my friend with the r32gt-r look on with horror as another friend almost blew up the motor

seems the rb oil pumps like to fail when you're running 500+ hp

he shut it down and coasted, and we didn't hear any rods banging, so we hope it's just the pump and no other damage

the difference is a repair costing hundreds or a repair costing thousands

I would drive any datto except for the ugly whale, a 240k ,my girl has one, talking here into getting rid of it. I reckon it is an old mans car.Hope she sells it , there is a nice sedan 110 she is thinking about.
Commodores are fine if heavily modified. Not my favorite though.

It's a late 92 modelI've been interested in and I doubt I would take that car to the track. I just want something larger and sporty yet still cruisy and definatley not new and gay and lame like , well new gay and lame chicks cars I see all the time.

there's nothing quite like the banshee howl of an s20 motor: aluminum block and head, 4 valves per cylinder, 3 mikuni sidedraughts, 2 cams, 2.0 litre, inline 6cyl

mostly complete s20's can sell for
