Could anybody recommend the amount to skim off an A15 head/ block to provide an improved compression ratio. I am currently running twin 40DCOE carbies and am about to fit factory +1 oversized pistons. A fast street cam is also on the cards if I can locate one (impossible in the UK) If anybody has a suitable cam and can post let me know. In fact any performance goodies that anybody has got to sell for the A15 I could be interested. A series performance parts are non-existant over here so I have to import everything.

well mate hear in australia we have unleaded and than premium with my a15 i run premium through it because it is a slightly higher octane fuel and is better for higher comp,if 99RON is the highest grade fuel from the pump over your your way i would say your "99RON" is similar to our premium so i would say thats the way to go and also i chose to not go any higher in compression purely so i could get fuel from the pump not having to specially get a higher octane fuel after all it is a road car i hope i have helped

It is good ****. My mate runs it in his 300ZX TT.
Premium from most other garages is about 97

you should still be able to use 97.

Some engine builders have been able to run 12.4:1 with 92.
