Hmm, a friend has an old falcon at his place with this type of injection?

this is whats known as sinlge point injection...

multipoint injection is where there is an injector for every cyclinder.
Ea falcon has single point
Eb has multipoint.
Ea and Eb use same intake bolts pattern too (same cylinder head i think. in fact its bassically the same engine...)

u can do it the way I do it

What the hell are you talking about??? We're talking about EFI not shooting a hole in a tin shed!

Although i would think it would be pointless going to this setup unless your going for a boosted application. So much hassle and cost and you could probably get the same results from a 32/36.

Somebody should try it atleast. If i was given a EA(that all their worth!) I would try it out, borrowing a comp off somebody or something. Cant see why it wouldnt work...

There's no way to get the 32/36 carby to run as smooth, as powerful and as economic as the TBI (Throttle Body injection).

In america, Ford put TBI into many cars during the 80s, most notably in the 1983-1985 Mustang and LTD II V8 with automatic transmission. Dunno if you'd call it a "single point" as there were two barrels (two butterflys) with two injectors. Ford called it CFI (Central Fuel Injection) and it worked very well, without having to re-design the induction system or fit it into cars designed for a carbureted engine. It simply bolts where a carburetor bolted the year before.

I miss my '85 baby LTD. It was truly the "1200" of midsize sedans.

best is just to get a weber manifold and get quad throttles for an a series which are similar to webers (same bolt pattern) and have a butterfly and injector per cylinder. Looks fanastic too....
