The 1000 at 580 race kgs still wins in japan against a plathora of other cars in the T1 1300cc class and could have been lethal if they werent stuck with the a10 in all its racing career. Even in Targa Tasmania and in racing throughout the world theyre stuck with the 3 bearing bottom end 1ltr!!! F***ng official c***suckers, yet they let this Lotus 7 in all classic race classes with todays latest tech!!
But wait theres more.. 2 years ago in Targa tasmania a gemini 4 door sedan with a b2600 late 90s engine and woping big turbo is allowed to enter and ends up 10th overall when the largest homologation it ever came with was an isuzu twin cam 2ltr and 2.2 in SS. Its because Geminis are mini holdens and the redneck branded car stands tall with officials in any shape or form. As were real jap owned cars (Isuzus were under holden badges and controlled by GM) get away with very little and receive little praise.
by the way guys with big engines in mind dont destroy your dattos with ideas of and L6 or other six. Sixes are heavy and destroy handling in small cars, the L6 is apparantely 8 pounds heavier than a ford 289 windsor
