Hi i was interested in finding out what 5 speed gearbox's will fit the A15 motor.

56A, 60 series [two types] & 63 series, none of which were marketed in Australian spec models.
Inexpensive, available & strong Toyo-yoyo T50 with relatively expensive Dellow adapter.

No the 56 series (rare as), 60 series (hard to find in Aus and $$) and the 63 (rare in Aus) are the Datsun 5 speeds that will bolt up. Your best bet is to use the T50 with a Dellow conversion kit or make up your own from an A series auto bell housing.

Some of the A series 5 speeds do come up for sale on this site from time to time , so keep your eyes open, but you wont be seeing much change from $1000.
