I have an a15 head on my a12 racing engine and have never had any problems . all the oil ports line up and i use an a15 head gasket. I am not sure on the compressions lol but arnt they usally written on then intructions that come with the gasket? You can also put a15 manifolds on to the a12 ports wich makes the engine breath easyer especilly with inlet manifold. You can compare the size of the a12 annd a15 gaskets . the size is quite great and you can imagine how much difference they make.- Lisa

No you can't put A15 manifolds on A12's, at least, not the inlet manifolds as the flange stud pattern is different & the larger oval port shape of the manifold would offer no advantage with the smaller round inlet ports, even if you could fit it.

An A15 manifold will bolt up to a Datsun 1200 or A12 GX head, but it would not be an advantage over the GX induction.
