I can't seem to find struts for a reasonable price for my 1200 sedan. Can I use struts
from another model??

I may be wrong ,but isn't a 120y a Datsun B210 in the US. The one I can't figure out is a RWD Stanza.(Could it be the 2nd generation 510?) We have FWD
Stanzas in Canada.

You are correct!
I sent an email to dudacus and mentioned that. 120Y is the same as a
B210.

Yeah, the 120Y is a B210 in US and Sunny in Japan. Chassis code is B210.
The RWD Stanza is an HL510 or 2nd gen 510 in the US but called Violet in Japan and 140J or 160J in Europe. The chassis code for all is A10.
Your FWD Stanza is a B11 by chassis code which was sold here and Japan as a Sunny...don't know if Aussie got these. (no loss if you didn't
Confusing eh?

The body is the same as B210 but the suspension is like a 1200. I'm almost positive. I have a Haynes Service manual for the B210 and 120Y and the pictures of the
suspensions show a difference.
I dont know if the strut cartridges are the same.
