I'm curious to know what turbos that are common here would work well on an A14.

I'm starting to rebuild my 1200 coupe and after it's all together then I'm going to work on a turbo system for it. I'm thinking about putting fuel injection on it along with the turbo. We'll see how easy it all is.
If you beat me to then I'll be keeping a close eye on your build.

My plan is to take Topear's lead and keep it simple with a draw through SU carburetor system. I've built two Megasquirt EFI systems before but what I love about this idea is the simplicity, keeping the stock fuel pump and all.

After doing some research I've become fascinated with the SU carb. i think its ideal for Turbo because once it is tuned (which is simple to do) it has the fuel mixture very much under control.
Lock the dizzy at 25 degrees static advance and you can likely call it a day.

For the manifold i got a head flange from a group buy here and i'm going to make a mani with my mig and some buttwelds.

To start I think I'll use the stock intake, modified along with a BOV from an eclipse.

As for which turbo to use I'm still not sure. the Australians are using turbos from cars we don't have here in the states. I'm thinking a t25 from an eclipse or an ihi rhb5 from a mazda.

Yea I too have some flanges on their way. I didn't pay for airfreight so there on a slow boat from Australia.
I grabbed a T2 from some Nissan CA20ET I think. It's probably not good but I have it and occationally I hold it up under the hood to see how in the world I'm going to route a manifold. The steering column and alternator are quite the obstacles.
Those guy's with their right-hand-drive's make it look too easy.
I'm interested in knowing more about that megasquirt. That's probably for another thread.
