Has anyone made a repo parcel shelf for our 1000's.. or is there interes of having some made,
we have one in puuuurfect condition but most of them are broken,

we thought a fiberglass one would be the best option..

I just made one out of 1/2inch wood board and trimmed it in carpet.

i dont know if the one that i pulled out was the original one, but it had 30 year old cracked vinal covering it. It was just wood as well, so i cut the new one to the same shape, and voila new parcel shelf.

Fibreglass would look neat, but no good if you want to install speakers in the read shelf.

hmm dunno if there is any need to go that far, anyone else??

Ahhh now i know what you mean.

I have one in near mint condition, and yes from fibreglass would be the go.

Heaps stronger.

Yeah i would be in for that.

What about a new glove box as well, since they are just carboard, and mine are all fingered.

Mr Dundee was refering to the little shelf that sits near your feet, on the passenger side under the glve box.

The parcel shelf usually refers to the shelf that is behind the heads of the rear passengers, in a 4 door.

Lets get both the "Package Tray" and glovebox done at the same time!?

I'll have 3 of each

Now who's a fiberglasser?
