The Conrod Supersprint starts fromt he bottom of the first hill on Conrod, so you get up a fairly good speed before Caltext Chase, and you go around Murrays corner and finish on the finish line on pit straight. Good fun, particularly if you line up against a similar speed car.

The Mountain Straight Hillclimb is a pretty special piece of road! I did that one in 2005 when I came down in the GTR. Starts halfway up Mountain straight beside the winery, and finishes just before McPhillamy Park. So you get the sweeper off Mountain Straight up the hill (griffins Bend), the BP Cutting, Reid and Sullman Park corners. The fast blind corners at the top of the hill are awesome!

definitely worth the effort to get there from Newcastle!

hehe, I was kinda hoping I'd slip in under the radar without old mate noticing me...

I think Andrew's planning on having a run in my old GTR too, so they may mistakenly target him instead!

should be a fun weekend - always plenty of controversy at Bathurst!

its a long story mate, and the telling of it requires a beer or two...

I have no idea what happened with Benny though! I guess that must have been last year when I wasn't there.

btw, do you remember Jon Siddins and his green 240Z? He stopped by the Mt Cotton on his way home last weekend and saw my new toy - he remembered you from the days when he used to go down to Bathurst over the Easter long weekend.

Yeah I remember John and his very fast green 240Z nice bloke good steerer too. I think the datto only had A series back then or maybe stock Ca18det cant really remember was a long time ago.
I think With benny his very fast record time some think was a misstime??
Ah well Im up for the beer and tales for this december its not actually that far off.
Only 9 weeks!!!
Will be great to catch up with some fello datto heads. I hope craig can bring the yellow beast down too. The GTR may be a bit closer to his than my old girl. I may have to wind some boost up her to get it going down the straights a bit faster, corner speed should be pretty good. Brakes are brillaint now
Cheers Andrew
