hi all im taking the heater out of my ute 2 tidy up the interior abit and i was just wondering wat ppl hav done for a demister type thing because you need one for rego any infoand/or pics is much apprciated THANX Appsy1

if u dont actually need the heater as in coz its not that cold in ur area, then just dont have one, ive been through rego checks three times without one never even been queryed about it and two of three regos werent dodgy.

Yep, thats what my car is having. Can get them from most auto parts stores (supercheap and the like).
No photos as yet but once they are connected and the dash is still out I will take a photo and put it up.

Your local boat accessories shop. The one in Nth Parramatta (Sydney) has them.

That shop rocks. It's located just off church street, on the road to parammatta jail.

It's also a good place to get stainless screws and nuts/bolts and other fittings.

just fitted mine on the weekend just made a few brakets and bolted them to the firewall. Gives you heaps more room and the opportunity to fit a decent sized screen if your into the stereo stuff.

Here's the best pic I could get.
The handle of the hairdryer folds up so it is a nice neat fit. A hose clamp to hold it to the vent ducting and tadaa.
