serviced my ute today...for starters the dellow catalog says the 2t-3t hold 2.2 liters of oil...mine only held i 1.6 ruffly....then the datsun manual said the a15 holds 3.2 liters of oil with a oil filter change (which i did put a new one on)....my engine took 3.5 to get it half way up the dip stick....any reasons why? cheers

You dont want the oil halfway up the dipstick you want it no higher than the H level, or is that what you meant?

somethings up mate, my 3t box took exactly 2.2 litres on the dot.

you pour the oil in the gearstick hole until it just starts to come out the top hole on the side.
