My windscreen is 2 months old and a stone smacked bang in the centre with luckily only a few scratch inprints. Anyone know if theres is a repair kit available???
Ive seen ads advertising repair kits and instructions so you can make a mobile business out of it but didnt want to go that far. I cant buff it either its like pitting or a super-guinea pigs bite.. you know like the dude in moonraker with the steel jaws ah its time for my medicine.

im pretty sure they can repair them.... but i would do it quickly... i remember when getting a new windcreen in a previous car the window guy gave me some clear stickers and said if i ever get a chip or scratch to cover it straight away..... im not totally sure why but i think the longer u leave it the harder it is to fix....

Weirdly enough Ive heard this too. Like it gets infected or unsterile which makes it spread or weaker.

Usually Windscreens O'Brien does repairs...I had it done and they do an outstanding job. They come to your home and charge an approx $30 call out fee plus $30 per chip. I had a really deep star crack that was quickly spreading and I couldnt get a roadworthy cert.....and I couldnt even tell that it was there after it was done. Well worth it esp on a rare beauty like a 1000. By the way the stickers are to stop dust and water getting in the crack...once youve got dust in it, it becomes more visible after the repair.
