I'm new to datsuns need to find out more about electric igntion,used the search button but need some other details,any specific detail would be appreicated.

have a look in my photos or search for a thread called 'elecy ignition easy as!' could be a pic. In there i said step by step how to convert a electronic N12 pulsar dizzy to suit a A series!

thanks for that chris it was a big help! what is the main difference betwwen an early model engine and a late model? do they use the same timing settings for the E15 dizzy?

Yup same timing and everything. Just the dizzy is in a different location is all. With the holding ring off the mini its actually really good for adjusting timing as you have 360deg rotation of the dizzy!

I have a way to convert the std a14 dizzy to Hall effect... by using parts from a Vw golf1's dizzy...
