dumping the clutch as every intersection in a stock 1200 wont get your car impounded or your license taken

not like a stock a12 is a tyre shredding torque machine after all, its not an L series remember

Who would have guessed a new P plater would drive like a Dirkhead. I have never heard of such behavior. I have never seen a P plater do anything out of the ordinary... I cant even type that with a straight face!

Do you think??? I have done some pretty stupid stuff. From driving on the footpath to ripping on the hanbrake at well over 100kph to taking a car out just to destroy it. But I do look back and think how lucky I am that nobody was hurt from my utter stupidity.

I do find it strange that the TV ad for this anti-speeding campaign doesn't actually show anyone speeding. Whoever made it didn't really have much of a think about it.

i'm sure we'll all been there when we first got our licenses doing burnouts left, right and centre, but i'm sure everyone will agree that you tend to grow out of it pretty quick, after you break a few diffs and start spending money on broken parts and mending broken pride and ego's when you have to get a tow home from the oldman. Please learn from my mistakes!when i had my P's i had a car(1200 sedan)load of mates over at kooragang island whilst doing doughnuts the diff let go and we had a long walk home, these were the days before mobiles, i copt flack for months, still comes up at the pub from time to time, although we all laugh about it now.

This thread starts up the age old question.......... Is driving a right or a privillage? it alway comes to mind with young fellas like this bloke!

Incendently that tv ad was made in newcastle, in carrington to be exact, which is a suburb in newy! i do agree with dat141 it seems to be more about burnouts rather than speeding, i reakon it encourages young people.

My 2cents!
