so what sort of consumption figures are people getting now?

My stock A12 Auto 120y uses 8.4L/100km, about 50:50 city driving and revving its tits off at 100kph.

They played Mad Max2 here on TV last sunday. Makes me wonder how long before gas becomes that prized. When I was a teenager, I had a V8, and no job. I used to syphon dad's lawnmower so I could cruise. I bought a KE30 for two jugs of beer. I rolled it onto it's roof to get the gaerbox and diff out. when gas started coming out the filler, I got a tray under it as fast as I could.

My datsun wont be winning any economy contests. Superchargers aren't really an economy enhancing apparatus. At least I can switch it off, kinda like someone else could...

Well ive pretty much done what Andy said. My daily for a long time has been a Diesel 60 Series Landcruiser. But at $1.80 for CHEAP Diesel its getting a bit silly!

So the mighty 1000 is the new daily and the cruiser is the project car! Only gonna use the 4wd for 4wding trips now so i can go crazy(er) on it. The A15 shouldnt bee too bad on fuel as long as i stay off the happy pedal(it'll be hard but i can do it!)
