Jamie I'd go L-20 in the 210 and vg-30 in the 610 the vg will be silky smooth and crushingly powerfull just like the L in the 210

Just do it...
Lets see more kick ass cars getting about. 210 with L20B is obvisously a good move. The Z18ET is also nice for B210s.

I think the L20B will do good in the B210, since I already have it, I will need only one other engine for the 610, the VG30 is not a bad idea, and the 610 can handle it.My only issue is with my rotary side, perhaps I will, if going the rotary way, put the L20B in the B210 and a 20B 3 rotor Mazda engine in the 610. As of now, the best way would be, perhaps,l get a 280ZX transmission for the L20B, dual DCOE's and cam to begin, Since the 610 got exempted already, will drive it like that, at the same time will work on the other motor, look for a VG30, or a nother type, perhaps the 20B rotary, when time comes, swap it into the B210(L20B), and then freinkenstein myself with the 610, crazy Datsuns!, imagine, with the money I would spend just in a down payment for a plastic FWD pipiHonda, I could get a crazo Dat!....never a plastic tub, only Datsuns!

Hey DDgonzal, I might be getting a free(a guy that is changing engines, out of a pathfinder) KA24, from a pathfinder, is is not manual trans, but I can find a matching one and use it for the 610. The KA24 is like a L20, but twin cam, am I right?.Not bad if free, but, what about the computer side, would it be easier to make it twin sidedraft, avoiding all that computer crap? Checking options, the 20B is very tempting, but I would have to spend some good bucks just in getting the motor. The KA24 is more powerfull than the L20, what about the VG, vrs the KA24. There is a few options. The one that is already done is the L20B in the B210.

The KA24 comes in sohc and dohc. It's heavier than the other fours, but lighter than the V6.
Sure, you could put carbs on it, but then you'd have a lesser engine (less smooth, less fuel economy, less easy to start, etc). The computer stuff is pretty easy, just use the original wiring harness. You could even use the whole fuel tank! On the other hand the KA looks pretty cool with sidedrafts ...

I have limited my self to 6000rpm and that is fine by me It pulls real hard all the way up so I don't know where peak is yet. Jamie price a rotory rebuild that should cure that itch.
