FINALLY BOUGHT A 1200 ute

Have been searching for another ute for several months and hit the jackpot today. Was advertised in the Sunday mail today.

It is a 70's model ute (didnt bother looking at the tag for exact year) A14, 5 SPEED rally box, disc brakes, baby blue with red interior. Perfect mechanically and body is average with a few dings here and there plus usual rust.

Took her home for $2800 with registration untill december!

i agree with Mitch.... i got an A15 with the pov pack 4 speed and i run out of revs and gears way too quick.... dont know weather to go for the celica 5 speed or go all out and go CA18 with stumpy 5 speed.... any suggestions?

nice score with the ute dude btw

First time Ive driven a datto with a 5 speed! Not as good as I expected, seems to still be revving at 2600-2700rpm in 5th at approximately 80km/h!

you said it was a rally box i dont think they would have the ratio so you can cruise at 110 at relativly low revs

ZigZag, mine easy does 160km's in 4th... it would have kept going but the speedo stopped there so I thought that I should... didnt look at the tacho though...
