I have been racing 1200's for about 15 years in Australia.I have won a number of NSW and Australian titles in motorsport driving the faithful 1200 Datsun.I own 5 1200 coupes and 1x 2 door sedan.Have a look at a new website I am involved in

After all of the talk about this site, I thought that it was time I got onto it and had a look at all of the enthusiasts.

Are you still OK for tomorrow?

Tomorrow... I was thinking about sleeping in after 3 weeks of continuous work Good thing I get my Datsun medicine via the internet. Maybe you got me confused with somebody else. I know you from the Datsun Club Day out at Oran Park. My 1200 is not on the road yet..Awaiting slow painters. Common story. But I'm keen to lift both front wheels while powering out of corners. Hopefully I'll be ready for the Adelaide nationals in November.

That'd be me for tomorrow John? Great to see you on here and as you can see from Chris's avatar you may want to have a chat to him too. If you're coming around you'll need 14's to clear the brakes but then you probably knew that!

It was the burgandy n15 SSS. It's the car I use for chicks that don't dig the smell of oil and grease..It's tires are still looking trashed on the edges after that day out.

My real Datto has been in the project stage for 2 years. I've built/drove a CA18DE/DET powered 1200 from 1993 until 2001.

Sure, I have had mine for about 12 years now. It has been off the road for about 6-7 years. It was one of our tuff rally cars.It is just a roller now and is waiting a full rebuild which will be started very shortly.
Another interesting car which I have, which I have had since 1987 which some of you know about is the EX BILL EVANS Factory 1200 Coupe which won its class at Bathurst in the 70's.Some of you may remember a story on this car in Fast Fours in the early 90's.
