I've been contemplating buying this, as it's only a short drive away from where I work.
Supposedly it's advertised elsewhere, not just ebay.

id pay $4000 if its as good as it looks in the pics and there is no rust other then stated all log books and original motor

There are 2 issues here if it was me.

If the car is as good as it appears and was being done up to original specs...i'd probably go to $2800.00ish

As a heavily modded project...$1500.00ish

Only my opinion Edit:Brent is right,with books i'd go another 5 spot if original

It is a shame about the rust!

I think that car just needs a good few days detailing it and it would come up a million dollars.

not particulary nuts these cars are only getting rarer and examples like his are particulary hard to find cause people have tyries attitude (he's joking??) and mod them

Nothing wrong with a good bit of tastefull modification...

I'm just sceptical of cars that are close to the ocean. This one has been pretty much all of its life, and I think it might have more rust than shown. I could be wrong...

cmon its a datto 1000 there not built like the lower quality 1200s they where built with quality in mind and so they dont rust!
