I would want to buy 5-Speed gearbox for Datsun 1200

Type:

F5C56 or F5C56A

If there's some minor faults, that should be ok with me.

Contact me to this topic or with private messages if you have one. Thank you.

dont get a 56 5 speed if you arent running stock motor you will break it quite easily get the bigger and better ones like the 60A or 60L and then theres the big boy the 63A

Good luck finding a 56 5spd, i assume it's the close
ratio 1:1 5th you chasing?? 60a + L boxes seem to
be more common and cheaper at the moment.

Do any gearboxes that fit the A series motors have a bolt-on bellhousing?

yeah that one was a 60a (sunny) 5spd.
The only Datsun box i'm aware of is the
3n71a auto but not a manual box.

yes, the one on eBay is a common 60-series transmission, not the one asked for above.

Yes, the Datsun 1200 Jatco 3-speed has a bolt-on bell housing.
